Hi, Backups! I made it back! I have been so busy with the Phil and Ace boards that I haven't had a chance to come and rejoin.

Let me begin this thread by announcing that Phil's cd is here! It's being released today, April 29, in the stores. I know Walmart has run commercials. Phil has got some snippets of songs on his myspace( http://www.myspace.com/philstaceymusic ), and Clear Channel has all of the songs up, with identification running in between, of course, to avoid downloading. this is the link.

The thing I notice about Phil, Judith, is that he has such peace & happiness in his eyes. It's always such a wonderful feeling to be in the place the Lord has guided you to - to be in the perfect will of the Lord. I'm so happy for him. Hope he has good sales, too.

Yes, there is definitely that peace there. A lot of it, too, is from the fact that he has the support of family, especially his wife, Kendra, and his "phans." He is doing a lot of TV and radio these days, until Thursday, I think, in New York. He was on the Today Show yesterday. Thanks cfphilfan! I like Phil a lot. When I first met him at the Idols concert last August, there were 2 Idols I immediately felt were just so naturally warm and loving- Melinda and Phil. I am so happy for him and I am sure his CD is going to be a great success!

Thanks, griotlori! Anyone here who buys the album, let me know what you feel about it. Post it here and be honest. You won't offend me. We are trying to get together reviews of Phil's cd to then send to his myspace. Not to influence anyone who buys the cd, but I get Google alerts, and I have read so many reviews already, many unfortunately not-so-positive, and it makes me and his Philnatics wonder who in the world they are talking about. It sure doesn't sound like Phil to us. Below are links to a piece that the 700 Club did on him, that maybe may explain why some are kind of negative in their reviews. Phil is not looking for positive reviews, although I'm sure he is pleased to read them; he has a higher purpose in mind: pleasing God and being in His will and therefore having the peace of God, like Sherry said a few posts above. It comes out beautifully in this piece done by the CBN people, who are known to put out some of the best and objective newspieces around.

Some information we are happy about!

One of his Philnatics checked him out on iTunes and found out that Phil's cd was at #40 on all music charts for top selling albums yesterday, and it was at #2 of the country albums, beaten by Lady Antebellum, which is at #1.

And at this link, it shows the cd among one of the hottest country albums. It gets updated hourly.

Phil's single is at #29 on Radio and Records; up from 30. They put out their charts on Thursdays. And like Phil's fan, Vicki, said before, at 30 on mediabase, 4 positions up from the last time and with 1494 spins!
