It's very clear, our luv is here to stay...
Well, here we are - one year later - fans of 2007 American Idol Finalist Melinda Doolittle. Some of us met in the American Idol web site Forum discussions, some on other Idol discussion boards, some on the MelindaFan website created by Tyler Graves, some through both Melinda's MySpace and the MelindaFan Myspace; others joined from reading comments supporting Our Girl posted throughout cyberspace and others from invitations sent to various bloggers and media outlets.

Not for a year, but ever and a day!
*The symbol for the First Anniversary is paper. A modern gift idea is a clock and the colors are gold or yellow. For the Street Team that means it is 'time' for another newsletter/flyer handout otherwise known as a Leaflet Detail to get the word out and keep the word out that Melinda's debut CD is in stores and available online for purchase; so that by the end of this year Coming Back To You can be certified Gold!!

The radio and the telephone and the movies that we know may just be passing fancies and in time may go; but, oh, my dear, our luv is here to stay!
Next, the Street Team will begin holding Listening Parties for family, friends (and friends of friends). It's only natural since Coming Back To You is a party from Track 1 straight through to the end and it deserves to be showcased properly.

Together we're going a long long way.
Another way to promote Melinda is through a Public Display of Street Team (PDST). Wear your MD Street Team tee shirts or use your mugs in public and you can promote Melinda and raise awareness for Malaria No More at the same time! At Mohegan Sun, Teamer/Backup Kimmy46 literally took the shirt off of her back and gave it to an inquisitive Melinda-fan on the spot - now that's a PDST!!

In time the Rockies may crumble, Gibraltar may tumble - they're only made of clay;
But our luv is here to stay!
